Beverly: New game in town, owner descends from Sandwich Royalty!

Opening February 1, 2022 - Tesoro Cucina, 79 Bridge Street Beverly 978-529-2869

I am so excited to announce the news of a fellow PVMHS graduate and friend, Bill Aylward, opening his own place in Beverly. Tesoro Cucina will be opening their doors to the public on February 1st. Have you ever heard of a small sandwich shop called Bill and Bobs? Well, Bill's grandfather, is THAT Bill. Check out his menu online and get ready for one of the best subs and pizzas in Beverly (oh and Nonna's Meatballs!!!!). I already know that my first order is going to be a xxx sour pickle pizza. I have always wanted to try a pickle pizza, and I just saw Bill's XXX Sour pickles and immediately thought they will be perfect for it. So Bill, when you get this weird order come in on Feb 1, it is mine!

History:

My grandfather was the original "Bill" from Bill & Bob's Roast Beef. I grew up in and around the food industry. In the early 90's at age 24, I became the Executive Chef at Papa-Razzi Trattoria. After that, I managed kitchens for some of the largest restaurants in Boston (Legal Seafoods, Back Bay, and Burtons). Most recently I was at the Black Cow in Newburport.

As a longtime Peabody resident, I'm very active in the community, donating hundreds of meals to the Haven from Hunger and St. Clair's Mission.
